Job summary

Customertimes in India is seeking a skilled React Developer to join our front-end team, building interfaces for clinical research and healthcare data platforms. You will translate complex healthcare workflows into intuitive experiences for researchers and clinicians.

You will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality, accessible software while optimizing performance and security.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional React.js development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) including DOM manipulation and data structures.
• In-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern front‑end tooling.
• Thorough understanding of React core principles—JSX, Virtual DOM, hooks, and component lifecycle.
• Experience with state management workflows such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Flux.
• Familiarity with TypeScript is highly desirable.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Proficiency with version control tools (Git).
• Experience with front-end build tools (Webpack, Vite) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js, translating UX designs into production-ready code.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries/design systems across Customertimes products.
• Integrate front-end apps with RESTful APIs/GraphQL and backend systems handling large healthcare data.
• Implement and maintain state management (Redux, Context API, React Query).
• Optimize performance, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals across devices and browsers.
• Diagnose and fix UI defects and performance issues in existing apps.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, RTL, Cypress).
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with product, UX, backend, and QA teams.
• Ensure WCAG compliance, security, and data privacy requirements.
• Contribute to technical documentation and coding standards.
• Mentor junior developers as needed.

You will build responsive, high-performance, and easy-to-use user interfaces used by researchers, clinicians, and life-sciences stakeholders worldwide, translating complex healthcare data and workflows into intuitive digital experiences.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js, translating wireframes and UX designs into high-quality, production-ready code;
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries/design systems for use across multiple Customertimes products;
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs / GraphQL services and backend systems handling large-scale healthcare and clinical trial data;
• Implement and maintain state management solutions (Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or React Query);
• Optimize application performance, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals across a wide range of devices and browsers;
• Diagnose and troubleshoot bugs, UI defects, and performance issues in existing applications;
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests (Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress) to ensure code quality and reliability;
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies;
• collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers, and QA;
