Job Responsibilities:

  1. Data Management: You will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining KYC-related data from various sources. This involves ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness, as well as complying with data privacy and security regulations.
  2. Data Analysis: Using your analytical skills, you will analyze KYC data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. This analysis may involve examining customer profiles, transactional data, and other relevant information to detect suspicious activities or potential risks.
  3. Reporting and Visualization: You will prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present the findings of your analysis to stakeholders, including management, compliance teams, and regulators. These reports should be clear, concise, and actionable, helping stakeholders make informed decisions and mitigate risks.
  4. Process Improvement: As an experienced data analyst, you will contribute to process improvement initiatives in the KYC space. This may involve identifying inefficiencies, suggesting automation or optimization opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data workflows and streamline processes.
  5. Collaboration: You will work closely with other stakeholders, such as compliance officers, AML analysts, and IT teams, to support the overall KYC process. Effective collaboration and communication are essential to align data analysis efforts with the organization’s objectives and compliance goals.
  6. Continuous Learning: The field of KYC and data analysis is constantly evolving. You should actively seek opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills by staying abreast of industry trends, attending relevant training or conferences, and pursuing certifications in data analysis or compliance.
  7. Ethical Considerations: As a data analyst in the KYC space, you will handle sensitive customer information. It is crucial to adhere to ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and ensure the responsible and lawful use of data at all times.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  1. 1-3 years of industry experience in data-related projects.
  2. Good understanding of database concepts with a strong proficiency in SQL and Excel (formulas/pivots/graphs and other advanced features).
  3. Proven track record of analyzing and mapping vast amounts of data, to find actionable insights for operational and strategic decision making.
  4. Demonstrated experience working on data wrangling tools (such as Microsoft SSIS, Alteryx, Talend) or Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik.
