JPMorganChase seeks a Finance and Business Management Project Manager – Associate in Finance to oversee a broad portfolio from strategic system replacements to process improvements. You will translate Finance needs for technology teams, partner with cross-functional groups, and drive end-to-end delivery of tests, implementations, and deployments to ensure accuracy and timely delivery for users.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Finance functions, end-to-end processes, and how Finance requirements translate into technology outcomes.
• Working knowledge of regional Finance operating model and key process flows.
• Project lifecycle experience: planning, governance, controls, risk and issue management, status reporting.
• Business analysis skills: requirements gathering, operating model and process analysis, and translating needs into clear deliverables.
• Ability to build relationships across Finance, Operations, and Technology in a matrixed environment.
• Strong written updates and executive-ready status reporting; effective meeting facilitation.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues with a control-minded delivery approach.
• Finance and accounting acumen with controllers mindset and awareness of financial reporting impacts.
• Support test strategy, UAT coordination, defect triage, and cutover readiness.

• Define requirements for controlled reference data migration and the setup of legal entities and product system feeds into the target Finance environment
• Partner with the Program Test Manager to create the test strategy, plans, scripts, and data
• Ensure requirements and the operating model are fully validated through testing
• Drive resolution of issues identified during testing
• Coordinate project and migration activities with the Business Lead and Project Manager
• Support training delivery

Job summary:

As a Finance and Business Management Project Manager – Associate in Finance within the Corporate and Investment Bank, you will manage a broad portfolio of initiatives – from multi-year programs such as strategic system replacements, new product launches, and branch buildouts, to ongoing process improvements. You will define and translate Finance requirements by partnering with Finance subject matter experts to develop functional specifications and communicate needs to technology teams. You will build strong cross-functional partnerships with the core project team, regional and corporate finance, operations, technology partners, and business clients. You will lead delivery end-to-end across testing and implementation to ensure solutions are accurate and delivered on time for users.

• Bring practical project lifecycle experience, including planning, governance, controls, risk and issue management, and status reporting
• Demonstrate business analysis skills including requirements gathering, documentation, operating model and process analysis, and translating needs into clear deliverables
• Build relationships and influence effectively across Finance, Operations, and Technology within a matrixed environment
• Produce crisp written updates and executive-ready status reporting, and facilitate meetings effectively
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues with a control-minded approach to delivery
• Apply Finance and accounting acumen, including a controllers mindset and awareness of financial reporting impacts and controls
• Support test strategy, user acceptance testing coordination, defect triage, and cutover readiness

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Hold an accounting or project management qualification
• Demonstrate awareness of line-of-business systems, middle-office operations, and adjacent products/solutions and how they feed Finance
• Apply data and systems literacy, including data flows, reference data, reconciliations, and basic SQL and Excel where relevant
• Contribute to change management activities, including training support, communications, and adoption tracking
