Job summary

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Jewelry Designer role is based at Surnivas Diamond’s location in Surat. The Jewelry Designer will conceptualize and create new jewelry designs, develop sketches and technical drawings, and refine concepts in collaboration with production and merchandising teams. Daily responsibilities include researching trends, working on fashion jewelry collections, preparing CAD models for manufacturing, and ensuring designs meet brand standards and production requirements. The role also involves coordinating with artisans and quality teams to translate designs into finished pieces and maintaining organized design documentation and portfolios.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Jewelry Design and Product Design, with the ability to create commercially viable collections.
• Experience designing Fashion Jewelry, with awareness of current trends, materials, and consumer preferences.
• Hands-on knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for jewelry, such as Rhino, Matrix, or similar tools.
• Attention to detail, understanding of diamonds and metals, and basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and artisans, and to receive and integrate feedback constructively.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Jewelry Design, Product Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.
