Job summary

GlobalLogic seeks an experienced JD Edwards on IBM i developer to design, develop, and support ERP-WMS interfaces across Noida, Pune, and Bengaluru. You will work on legacy IBM i components and modern integration layers to enable seamless order, inventory, and warehouse processes.

The role requires 5+ years in enterprise app development, strong JDE on IBM i skills, and hands-on WMS/integration experience. Collaborative, globally distributed teams, with offers for growth and learning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise application development experience.
• Strong development experience with JD Edwards on IBM AS/400 / IBM i.
• Hands-on knowledge of IBM i technologies including DB2 for i, RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, batch jobs and queues.
• Experience supporting or developing integrations between JDE and WMS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with WMi or a comparable on-premise WMS.
• Experience with middleware/integration frameworks; MIF preferred.
• Strong understanding of logistics, warehouse operations, inventory, and supply-chain processes.
• Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and production-support skills.
• Experience with batch, file, database, API, and messaging-based interfaces.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, test, and support solutions involving JDE on AS/400 / IBM i, WMi, and MIF.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of enterprise application development experience.
• Strong development experience with JD Edwards running on IBM AS/400 / IBM i.
• Hands-on knowledge of IBM i technologies, preferably including:
• DB2 for i
• RPG / RPGLE
• CL / CLLE
• Batch jobs and job queues
• File and database processing
• Experience supporting or developing integrations between JDE and WMS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with WMi or a comparable on-premise Warehouse Management System.
• Experience with middleware/integration frameworks; MIF experience is preferred.

• Experience modernizing or exposing AS/400 / IBM i functionality through APIs or modern integration layers.
• Exposure to CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and automation.
