Job summary

Infosys is seeking a JD Edwards Enterprise One Technical Developer with 2+ years of IT experience to work across a variety of projects. The role focuses on reports, design aids, interfaces, BI, and orchestration tools, with strong debugging and data exchange capabilities.

You will contribute to problem definition, solution design, and deployment within consultancy teams. You will engage in requirement specification, functional design, and product configuration, while collaborating with clients

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in IT as JD Edwards Enterprise One technical developer.
• Experience with reports, form design aids, tables, and BI.
• Ability to troubleshoot and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the consulting team across problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment.
• Research alternatives and build POCs based on literature, vendor data, and public information.
• Create requirement specifications from business needs and define to-be processes and functional designs.
• Configure solution requirements on products; diagnose issues, clarify as needed, and shortlist alternatives.
• Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives to deliver high-quality value for customers.
• Identify business challenges with clients and refine, analyze, and structure data.
• Stay aware of latest technologies and trends; collaborate effectively.
• Possess one or two industry domain knowledge.

• Expertise in development of Reports, Form Design Aid, Table Design Aid, Business View Design Aid, UDC, Financial Reports, Interfaces, Named Event Rules, C-Business Functions, Business Intelligence, Autotask Ticketing tool, Service Now, Remedy and One view Reporting, Orchestration Tool.
• Strong exp and knowledge of the JD Edwards Enterprise One Technical Foundation tools.
• Extensive experience on interfaces to exchange data to/from JDE to/from third party tools.
• E1 application troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
• Menu creation, Menu filtering and Menu promotion.
• Debugging in JDE (JDE Debug and troubleshooting process).
• Dedicated and Hard/Smart Working with a passion for perfection and excellence.

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment
• You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs
• You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.
• You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives
