SCALExM.ai seeks a Senior JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Developer to design, develop, and support manufacturing-focused E1 solutions. The role emphasizes Orchestrator automation, integration work, and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and IT teams.
The candidate will implement end-to-end E1 configurations, work with OEM tools, and ensure reliable, scalable deployments across the full lifecycle from requirements to post‑go‑live support.
The Senior JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) Developer is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, deploying, and supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions with a primary focus on manufacturing business processes. This hands‑on role requires expert proficiency in both E1 Orchestrator and core E1 development tools. The incumbent partners with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, operations, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable, supportable E1 configurations, customizations, reports, and integrations. The position coordinates technical delivery across the full solution lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, release, and production support.
Design, develop, deploy, and support complex E1 Orchestrations to automate business processes, provide notifications, and facilitate data exchange between JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and external systems.
Use the full suite of E1 development tools, including Object Management Workbench (OMW), Form Design Aid (FDA), Report Design Aid (RDA), Table Design, Event Rules (ER), Named Event Rules (NER), and Business Functions (BSFN), to build and maintain high-quality E1 solutions.
Analyze business processes and user needs; translate manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operations requirements into technical specifications, estimates, data mappings, test plans, and implementation plans.
Develop and support manufacturing‑focused E1 solutions involving work orders, bills of material, routings, shop floor control, inventory, material availability, manufacturing costing, and related operational processes.
Develop and maintain integrations using E1 Orchestrator, AIS, REST/SOAP services, files, middleware, SQL, and other approved technologies to connect E1 with external manufacturing, logistics, quality, reporting, or partner systems.
Evaluate requests for configuration, customization, reporting, workflow, and integrations; recommend the most sustainable solution, prioritizing standard E1 functionality and approved extensibility tools where appropriate.
Coordinate end‑to‑end technical delivery for E1 initiatives, including requirements clarification, work sequencing, cross‑functional dependencies, technical risks, vendor handoffs, testing, deployment readiness, and post‑go‑live support.
Prepare statements of work, project scope, risk assessments, effort estimates, technical design documentation, implementation plans, rollback plans, and operational support documentation.
Develop and execute unit, system, integration, regression, and user‑acceptance testing; assist business users with test execution, issue resolution, and acceptance of delivered solutions.
Coordinate release and change‑management activities, including required documentation, approvals, communications, production validation, and post‑implementation review.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement durable corrective actions for E1 applications, integrations, reports, and manufacturing‑related processes.
Maintain complete technical documentation, including solution designs, interface specifications, data mappings, test evidence, deployment procedures, and support runbooks.
Partner effectively with business systems analysts, manufacturing and operations leaders, IT personnel, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
Provide technical guidance, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentorship to team members and business partners.
Help establish and follow approved software‑development, source‑control, testing, change‑management, and release‑management practices.
