Job summary

Optum in Chennai, India seeks an experienced Senior Software Architect to design and lead scalable microservices and drive best practices across the SDLC.

You will mentor a small team, develop robust Java-based services using Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver reliable software.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and develop highquality software architecture and components

Required Qualifications:

• Solid experience in developing Microservices using Java 1.8, Spring REST, Spring Boot, and JPA


• Handson expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub


• Proficient in JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, Splunk, Grafana, and PostgreSQL


• Good understanding of DomainDriven Design (DDD) and ObjectOriented Programming (OOP)


• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and eventdriven architectures


• Analytical mindset with solid problemsolving skills
