Job summary

Infosys seeks an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and REST APIs. You will work with microservices, Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, and relational databases.

Responsibilities include security (OAuth2/JWT), Maven/Gradle, Git, and a focus on scalable, high-volume systems. Exposure to Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and core Spring Framework.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, microservices, and enterprise app development.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful services and database access (SQL).
• Experience with Spring Data JPA/Hibernate and security (OAuth2/JWT).
• Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of distributed systems and high-volume apps.
• Experience with containerization and cloud platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and REST APIs.
• Contribute to microservices architecture and database interactions.
• Implement security using OAuth2/JWT and Spring Security.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure robust deployment pipelines.
• Handle CI/CD integration, Docker/Kubernetes basics, and cloud deployments.
• Optimize performance and guide code quality standards.
• Participate in design reviews and technical guidance.
