We are looking for a driven Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer to join the team. This role involves following triaged priorities and scope identified by the Migration Engineering Leadership Team to create and maintain migration tooling and scripts, primarily focused on current and future Java-based solutions and architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain migration tools that perform ETL for Java-based solutions
• Collaborate on design, following an overall structure and making informed programming decisions
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Architect new and efficient migration methods for prospects and customers
• Resolve issues with existing migration tools when possible and appropriate

Your Experience:

• 2-6 years of professional Java development experience
• Experience or understanding of ETL development, warehouse design, and data-loading strategies/tools is a plus
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Understanding of data structures, including databases and flat-file storage
• Strong problem-solving, research, and information-gathering skills
• Bonus: Experience with forward and backward linking (compiler-like problems) is a plus
