Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Mandate Skillsets : Java 8 & 17 Version, XML/SOAP, JSON/Swagger/YAML, IDE(Eclipse/VSCode/etc), SoapUI/Postman, Tomcat, Maven, Github Copilot

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with 6+ years of hands‑on experience in Java development, API integration, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java 8 and Java 17, XML/SOAP, JSON, and REST API documentation, along with experience in deployment tools, build automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

The candidate should possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, along with good communication abilities, as the role involves direct customer interaction and regular project updates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8 and Java 17.
• Develop and integrate web services using XML, SOAP, JSON, and REST APIs.
• Work with API documentation and specifications using Swagger and YAML.
• Perform API testing and troubleshooting using Postman and SoapUI.

Required Skills:

• 8 to 11 years of strong hands‑on experience in Core Java.
• Expertise in JDK 8 or JDK 17.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Solid understanding of multithreading and concurrency (Executors, Synchronization, CompletableFuture, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with Apache Kafka / Kafka Streaming.
• Strong SQL and database experience with DB2, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in AWS Cloud services and application deployment.
• Deep understanding of Java memory management and Garbage Collection mechanisms.
• Experience in microservices architecture.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
