Job summary

N Consulting Limited is seeking a Java Mid-Level developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java, Java 17, Spring Boot, Microservices and React programming to join our delivery teams in Bengaluru/Chennai.

You will design, build and maintain scalable services, work with Kafka, SQL/NoSQL, implement OAuth2/JWT security, and contribute to CI/CD and testing. The role demands strong analytical skills and team collaboration in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Core Java development experience with Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices and React programming.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API security, authentication/authorization, multithreading, design patterns, logging and monitoring.
• Experience with Java 8+ features including lambda expressions and streams.
• Working with Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases and writing optimized queries.
• Security frameworks including OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS, token management and monitoring.
• Agile/Scrum environments, end-to-end ownership and CI/CD practices.
• Unit testing with JUnit and Mockito.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-grade Java applications with high performance and scalability.
• Implement REST APIs, API security, authentication/authorization, and robust error handling.
• Work with Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases; write optimized queries and maintain data integrity.

• Overall 6+ years of hands‑on experience in Java development with strong expertise in Core Java, Java 17, Spring Boot, Microservices and react programming
• Proven experience in building production‑grade applications and services with high performance, reliability, and scalability
• Solid understanding of Collections, Generics, REST APIs, API security, authentication/authorization, multithreading/concurrency concepts, Design Patterns, Exception handling, Logging and Monitoring, Caching & React Programming
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of Java 8+ features including lambda expressions, streams, Optional, and functional interfaces
• Work with Kafka, SQL and NoSQL databases, writing optimized queries, understanding indexing/joins
• Implement and maintain security frameworks including OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS, mTLS, and token lifecycle management
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and programmatic thinking skills, with the ability to design efficient solutions for complex technical problems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take ownership of modules, and drive tasks end‑to‑end
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and delivering in iterative development cycles
• Hands‑on experience with testing, CI/CD, and deployment across multiple test and production environments
