Job summary

PwC in Hyderabad is seeking a Java Microservices+EJB+Banking/Insurance Manager to lead software delivery and mentor teams within our Acceleration Center India.

You will design, code, and test applications using Java, Microservices, and EJB while guiding client engagements and shaping project strategy to drive digital transformation.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 8 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English required.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance
• Managing client service accounts and driving engagement workstreams by supervising teams and independently solving complex problems
• Designing, coding, and testing applications using Java, Microservices, and EJB to deliver exceptional user experiences
• Guiding teams in strategic planning and execution of software engineering projects
• Utilizing technical proficiency in API Management and Application Development to optimize software solutions
• Building and maintaining relationships with business and technology leaders to identify and address software challenges
• Promoting the use of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices to improve software development processes
• Confirming the integrity and security of software applications within development frameworks
• Mentoring junior staff and leveraging team strengths to deliver on client expectations
• Addressing conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients and team members, escalating where appropriate
