Responsibilities

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong development skills in Java JDK 1.8 or above
• Java fundamentals like Exception handling, Serialization/Deserialization and Immutability concepts
• Good fundamental knowledge in Enums, Collections, Annotations, Generics, Autoboxing and Data Structures
• Database RDBMS/NoSQL (SQL, Joins, Indexing)
• Multithreading (Re-entrant Lock, Fork & Join, Sync, Executor Framework)
• Spring Core & Spring Boot, security, transactions
• Hands-on experience with JMS (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka etc)
• Memory management (JVM configuration, Profiling, GC), profiling, performance tuning, testing (JMeter or similar)
• DevOps (CI/CD: Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, quality plugins, Docker and containerization)
• Logical/analytical skills; thorough understanding of OOP concepts, design principles and implementation of different design patterns
• Hands-on experience with logging frameworks (SLF4J/LogBack/Log4j)
• Experience writing JUnit test cases using Mockito / Powermock
• Practical experience with Maven/Gradle and knowledge of version control systems like Git/SVN
• Good communication skills and ability to work with global teams to define and deliver on projects
• Sound understanding of software development processes and test-driven development
• Experience in Microservices design pattern
