Job summary

Zensar Technologies in Pune, India seeks an experienced Java Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. You will work with Kafka, REST APIs, and modern CI/CD pipelines to deliver robust software solutions.

The role requires 6+ years of hands-on Java experience, familiarity with Agile practices, and a strong focus on code quality, security concepts, and design patterns.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, APIs, Spring MVC, and security basics.
• Experience with microservices, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on deployment of microservices to PCF or similar platform.
• Proficiency with unit testing (JUnit), build tools (Maven/Ant/Gradle), and Git.
• Knowledge of design patterns and agile methodologies.

Mandatory Skills:- Core Java / Java 8 +, Spring Boot JPA, REST API, Microservices, Kafka & Event-Driven Architecture, Database(SQL / No- SQL), CI/CD Pipeline, GIT, Problem Solving ability, Design Pattern / Principals

• Overall Career Experience of6+ years into Java Development


• Essential knowledge, skills & attributes


• Hands on experience with core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, API, Spring(MVC, IOC, AOP, Security), Web-services(JSON and SOAP), Kafka, Zookeeper


• Hands on experience of developing microserviceapplication & deploying them on any one of the pcf


• Hands on experience of using Intellij/Eclipse/My Eclipse IDE


• Hands on experience of writing Junit test cases, working with Maven/Ant/Gradle, GIT


• Knowledge of Design Patterns


• Experience of working with Agile methodologies.


• Personal attributes are strong logical and Analytical Skills, design skills, strong communication written and verbal skills


• Knowledge of Security concepts(E.g. authentication, authorization, confidentialityetc.) and protocols, their usage in enterprise application

Additional/Desirable capabilities

• Experience of working in Reward/Payments application Domain


• Hands on experience of working with tools like Mockito, JBehave, Jenkins, Confluence, Rally
