Viraaj HR Solutions Private Limited in Kolkata is seeking a Java backend engineer to design, develop, and deploy web applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.

You will build front-end interfaces with Angular/React/Vue.js, integrate microservices, and collaborate with product and QA to deliver scalable solutions. This role includes on-site flexibility, learning budgets, and exposure to global clients across fintech, logistics, and healthcare.

Qualifications

• Must have Java 8+ and Spring Boot experience.
• Proficient in Hibernate and RESTful APIs.
• Front-end familiarity with Angular/React/Vue.js.
• Database experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Version control with Git; issue tracking with JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Java-based web apps using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces with Angular, React, or Vue.js for cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with product and QA to translate requirements into scalable solutions with clean code.
• Integrate third-party services and microservices via REST/gRPC; support CI/CD with DevOps.
• Optimize performance, perform code reviews, and implement automated tests (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium).
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to architectural decisions.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Java-based web applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.


• Build responsive front-end interfaces using Angular, React, or Vue.js—ensuring seamless user experience and cross-browser compatibility.


• Collaborate with product and QA teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions with clean, maintainable code.


• Integrate third-party services and microservices via REST/gRPC, working closely with DevOps to ensure CI/CD pipeline efficiency.


• Optimize application performance, conduct code reviews, and implement automated testing (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium) for robust delivery.


• Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to architectural decision-making.
