Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a seasoned engineering lead at Apps Development Sr Group Mgr (SVP) level to architect and deliver enterprise onboarding and implementation systems.

You will guide global teams, apply AI tools, and drive modern frontend/backend architectures including micro-frontends. You should have 15+ years in enterprise workflow, 10+ in solution architecture, deep knowledge of Angular, Java/Spring, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and experience with BPM tools.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in architecting and developing Enterprise Workflow applications.
• 10+ years in solution architecture for onboarding and implementation systems.
• Deep experience using AI Dev Tools to deliver independent solutions.
• Expert in Document management using LLM.
• Proven hands-on in micro-frontend architectures with Webpack Module Federation.
• Expert in Angular; React or Vue.js also valuable.
• Extensive experience in Java stack (10+ years): Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, REST, Maven/Gradle, WebSockets.
• Experience designing solutions with Message Oriented Middleware (Kafka, Apache MQ over SSL).
• Familiar with REST, JSON, SOAP, JAXB, JAX-WS.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient with XML/JSON/Protobuf and schema; descriptor languages.
• Strong execution, prioritization, and leadership in global teams.
• Learner and knowledge-sharing attitude.
• Experience with BPM tools such as IBM BAW or other Open-Source workflow tools advantageous.

Services Onboarding & Deal Express Technology team is looking for a seasoned hands-on engineering lead at Apps Development Sr Group Mgr (SVP) level.

We are looking for an avid technologist who

• Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of development methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information.
• Deals with most problems proactively and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid grasp of industry standards and practices.
• Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact.
• Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner.
• With a developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange potentially complex information.
• Can be moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Here is what you bring -

• You have 15+ years of experience in Architecting and developing Enterprise Workflow applications out of which 10 yrs. in solution architecture designing onboarding and Implementation systems.
• You have deep experience in utilizing AI Dev Tools to deliver solution/feature independently.
• You have deep expertise in Document management utilizing LLM
• Proven, hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying complex Micro-Frontend architectures from the ground up, with deep knowledge of Webpack Module Federation.
• Deep expertise in at least one modern frontend framework, preferablyAngular. Experience with REACT or Vue.js is also valuable.
• You have proven hands-on experience designing and developing loosely coupled micro-services in the Java (10+) technology stack including spring, spring-boot, spring-data, JPA, REST-ful architecture, maven/Gradle, web sockets and open-source technologies.
• You must have experience in designing and developing solutions using Message Oriented Middleware architecture and products such as Kafka, Apache MQ over SSL
• You have working experience with Web service technologies such as REST, JSON, SOAP, JAXB, JAX-WS.
• You have extensive experience working with Dockers and Kubernetes
• You have working experience in message formats such as XML / JSON / Protobuf and schema (descriptor languages) backing the same.
• You possess advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes, especially in prioritization.
• Experience in leading highly skilled diverse technical teams in global setup is a plus
• You are an avid learner with an ability to learn and adapt so that you can help teach others and encourage idea exchange and information percolation.
• Experience working with BPM tools such as IBM BAW, top Open-Source workflow tools will be an added advantage
