Job summary

Capco, a Wipro company, is hiring a Java Full Stack Developer to join our hybrid delivery model in India. You will work on complex financial services projects across banking and insurance, delivering scalable, secure applications using Java, Spring, microservices, and modern front-end frameworks.

Immediate joining is preferred. Candidates should have 6+ years of Java Full Stack experience, strong REST API skills, and expertise in PostgreSQL, Hibernate/JPA, and messaging with Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of Java Full Stack Development experience.
• Strong Java proficiency (Core Java 17/21) and OOP.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA and microservices.
• REST APIs and distributed architecture knowledge.
• Proficiency in Angular or React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with PostgreSQL; knowledge of MySQL/MongoDB/Redis is a plus.
• Hibernate/JPA, Kafka or RabbitMQ, Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• Unit and integration testing with JUnit and Mockito.

Java Full Stack Developer (Angular/React)

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units, application teams, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define solution requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
• Evaluate and recommend technical solutions aligned with business and application needs.
• Propose enhancements to application architecture and technical design.
• Ensure solution alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
• Participate in technology planning, application modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop, test, and support high-performing web applications and microservices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java (up to Java 21) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed application design.
• Proficiency in Angular or React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL; knowledge of MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis is an added advantage.
