Job summary

Capgemini in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to design, develop, and maintain large-scale, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices patterns. Qualifications

• 6+ years of Java experience with enterprise middleware.

• Mumbai-based candidate or willing to relocate to Mumbai.

Job description

Looking for an experienced Senior Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Integration technologies, UI frameworks, and enterprise middleware. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain large-scale, high-performance applications, ensuring seamless integration across systems using modern architectural patterns and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

1. Design, develop, and enhance applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring Data JPA, Eclipse Link, and Microservices architecture.
2. Build and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services for internal and external communication layers. Implement UI components using AngularJS, ensuring responsive and user-centric interfaces.

Integration & Middleware

1. Develop integrations using JMS, OSB (Oracle Service Bus), BPEL, and BPM process flows.
2. Apply Map Struct for efficient object mapping in microservices and domain-driven designs

Database & Persistence

1. Work with Oracle databases for schema design, performance tuning, SQL optimization, and stored procedure handling.
2. Implement persistence layers using Spring Data JPA and EclipseLink, ensuring optimal ORM mapping and transaction handling.

Microservices & Cloud-Native Architecture

1. Develop, deploy, and maintain microservices aligned with enterprise integration patterns and scalable design principles.
2. Implement secure, resilient communication between distributed components via REST, messaging, and service orchestration.

Quality, Security & Performance

1. Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and implement high-coverage unit tests.
2. Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure adherence to security best practices
