Job summary

Exavalu is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer with 6–12 years of hands‑on experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and modern frontend tech; strong DB, cloud, and DevOps knowledge is required.

The role involves building robust backend services, integrating frontend with APIs, and collaborating across teams in a hybrid Kolkata setup. Prior insurance domain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java 8/11/17+.
• Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git and build tools such as Maven/Gradle.
• Knowledge of JUnit, Mockito, SonarQube or similar tools.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins/GitLab/Azure DevOps.
• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to design discussions.
