Job summary

Logile, Inc. is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices using Java and Spring Boot. You will also build responsive front-end UIs with React or Angular and craft RESTful APIs to connect microservices with the frontend.

The role emphasizes implementing event-driven patterns with Kafka, writing tests, and ensuring code quality while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A strong background in databases and CI/CD is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 3–7 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficient in Java and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and REST APIs.
• Frontend experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven patterns.
• Relational databases knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• GIT, Maven/Gradle, and familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Awareness of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using React or Angular.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for communication between microservices and frontend applications.
• Build event-driven applications using Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
• Develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and cloud platforms to deploy and maintain applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and other development teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation for build, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–7 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java Latest and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and REST API development.
• Experience building front-end applications using React or Angular.

• Good understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
