Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience developing web/mobile apps in Java/J2EE.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP, and JUnit.
• Proficient in Angular/React, JavaScript, responsive UI and MFE development.
• Experience with JavaScript build tools (npm, bower, grunt, gulp).
• Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL data stores (Oracle, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of Kafka and RabbitMQ; AWS hands-on.
• Experience with Event Driven and Domain Driven Design concepts.
• Experience creating responsive designs (Bootstrap, mobile).
• Experience with Agile methodologies including TDD, Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with version control e.g., GitHub/Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

Eligibility Criteria:

• 4 to 6 years of experience developing web / mobile based applications in Java/J2EE technologies
• Should be proficient in Java, Spring boot, Webservices (REST / SOAP), JUnits and Microservice architecture
• Should be proficient in Angular / React, Javascript, Responsive UI development and MFE application developments
• Experience with JavaScript build tools and dependency management (npm, bower, grunt, gulp)
• Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL data stores and polyglot persistence (Oracle, MongoDB etc.)
• Knowledge of event sourcing and distributed message systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Hands -On Experience in AWS
• Knowledge of Event Driven and Domain Driven Design concepts
• Experience creating responsive designs (Bootstrap, mobile, etc.)
• Participate in software design and development using modern Java and web technology stack.
• Familiarity with design patterns and should be able to design small to medium complexity modules independently
• Experience with Agile or similar development methodologies
• Experience with a versioning system (e.g., GitHub/Bitbucket)
• Experience with agile development methodologies including TDD, Scrum and Kanban

ADP is hiring a Senior Application Developer

In this role, you will work within a scrum team to bring the designs and ideas to life for new or improved web applications. This work will support a mix of internal and external clients. You will work with clients, product managers, architects, software engineers, and more to plan, design, develop, test, and implement impactful solutions that support companies with one to millions of employees. You will start your day on a scrum call to prioritize and track work. Within the team you work on, you will choose user stories to work within a sprint cycle. You will spend most of your day developing and testing your code. Every three weeks, you will be involved in the release activities.

To thrive in this development career, you'll need to be an expert in Java (Java 8+) and have a firm grasp on Spring Boot, Javascript, Angular and/or React. You'll need to be familiar with web services, RESTful APIs, and open source tools such as Apache KAFKA.
