Optimum Solutions in Bengaluru (Hybrid) is seeking a skilled Java developer to design and build scalable applications. You will work with Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native tooling in a Banking client environment.

The role involves integrating front-end work with Angular, managing databases, and enabling CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes workflows across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong Java and related framework experience.
• Proven ability to build RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Frontend basics with HTML/CSS/JS and Angular.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Version control with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, NATS or MQ.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with frontend teams using Angular for integrated solutions.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Maintain Git repositories and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to DevOps with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Containerize with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Integrate messaging systems like Kafka, NATS, or MQ.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• Strong experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular
• Knowledge of databases: SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience in using Kubernetes for orchestration
• Good knowledge of and experience with messaging systems such as NATS, MQ or Kafka
