Job summary

Virtusa in Hyderabad invites a Java/Python Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, and continually improve software solutions. You will translate product concepts into concrete project commitments and deliver incremental value to customers, frequently and with high quality.

You will mentor the engineering team through code reviews and hands-on design sessions, work in Unix/Linux environments, and contribute to architecture decisions for distributed, componentized applications.

Qualifications

• 7 years of coding experience in Java, Go, Python, or JavaScript
• Strong fundamentals, AI adoption, unit testing, code reviews, telemetry
• Experience with agile and DevOps practices including CI/CD, CD tools, REST APIs, serverless, containers, and IaC
• Experience with polyglot storage architectures: relational, columnar, key-value, graph
• Experience delivering applications with componentized and distributed architectures
• Ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
