We are seeking a Java Engineer (3- 6 years' experience) in Bangalore/Gurgaon to drive modernisation of enterprise financial platforms. You will lead cloud migration (AWS), integrate AI, and develop high-performance backend systems focusing on cleared derivatives, risk management, and margin optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Build high-performance, low-latency services using Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot.
• Cloud Migration: Execute on-premises to AWS cloud migration initiatives.
• Derivatives Focus: Implement complex business logic for cleared derivatives, covering trade matching and regulatory reporting.
• AI Integration: Implement AI pipelines for automated financial data processing.
• Architecture: Utilise AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3 RDS, Kafka).

Requirements

• Domain expertise in Cleared Derivatives (Futures & Options, Clearing Houses).
• Experience designing scalable microservices.
• Experience with Generative AI or Agent builders.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Required Technical Skills

• Java and Spring: Advanced Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate.
• AWS: Strong experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and security.
• Databases: Expert-level SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
• DevOps: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and migration patterns.
