Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Bengaluru is seeking a backend Java engineer to strengthen our core platform. You will work with Core Java (JDK 8/11+), Spring Framework and Spring Boot to build robust RESTful services.

You should be proficient in SQL/Oracle, PL/SQL, Linux, and scripting; familiar with Git, Eclipse, Tomcat and WebLogic. Strong design-pattern knowledge and CI/CD exposure are advantages.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Core Java (JDK 8, 11 and above).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience in developing RESTful web services.
• Good knowledge of SQL / Oracle and PL/SQL programming.
• Familiarity with Linux environment and shell scripting.
• Experience with tools like Git, GitHub, Eclipse IDE, Tomcat, Apache/WebLogic.
• Understanding of design patterns and backend architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices (good to have).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
