The Closing Gap in Chennai is seeking a Senior Java Developer with 7-9 years of backend experience to design, build, and maintain scalable systems using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. You will develop RESTful APIs, work with relational databases, and ensure production systems run efficiently.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with microservices, debugging, and production support, with cloud familiarity (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) as nice-to-have

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong backend engineering expertise to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture, along with a solid understanding of production systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Core Java and Spring Boot

Build and integrate RESTful APIs for enterprise-grade systems

Develop and implement microservices-based architecture

Work with relational databases, ensuring performance optimization and data integrity

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system design and delivery

Key Requirements

Strong experience in Core Java and Spring Boot

Hands‑on experience in REST API development and integrations

Solid understanding of microservices architecture

Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases

Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and production support

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
