Job summary

LTM in Pune district, India, seeks an experienced Software Engineer/Technical Lead with strong Java, Python, and AI-powered tooling to design and deliver scalable enterprise applications.

You will lead development, mentor juniors, participate in architecture discussions, and drive modern AI-enabled solutions across the SDLC in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Core Java, Java 8/11/17 and JVM concepts.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud and microservices.
• Proficiency in Python and building REST APIs.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools and Generative AI concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in Agile environments.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Engineer/Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java, Python, and AI-powered development tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable enterprise applications while leveraging modern AI technologies to improve productivity, automation, and solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Python technologies.
• Develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Integrate and leverage AI tools/platforms (such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, Azure AI, Vertex AI, Claude, or similar) for application development, automation, and optimization.
• Participate in architectural design discussions and technical decision-making.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute throughout the SDLC lifecycle.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Core Java, Java 8/11/17, Collections, Multithreading, and JVM concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience building REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with any AI-powered development or productivity tool.
• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts, LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development is preferred.
