We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with an interest toward "automating all the things" to be part of our team building a product focused on automated testing for mobile devices. The initial product is built and early clients have been obtained. It is now time to build upon this early success to enable the product to scale up to support many more customers. The core of the product is built using Java/Spring Boot, ReactJS, and SaaS with Appium being the glue that supports the automation efforts on the mobile devices. Early clients include major telecommunications companies spanning the globe.

Role: Senior Developer, Automation. We are looking for somebody that brings a strong development acumen to the team focused on levelling up our automation efforts. Our product provides cutting‑edge automation for mobile devices, giving you the opportunity to work on Android, iOS, IoT, and beyond. This may be the perfect position for those who have a strong development background and are interested in applying automation to mobile devices.

Responsibilities
- Looking for new or improved ways to "Automate All The Things".
- Full‑stack application development using Java, Spring framework (JPA, Data, Data REST, Boot), ReactJS, and Gradle.
- Understand and contribute to the technical solution yourself from design through to code level.
- Assist in the overall architecture of the product.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and debugging RESTful APIs.
- Work on a small team in an Agile project where responsibilities are shared.
- Create enterprise‑level applications running parallel device processing on Android and iOS devices.
- Participate in sprint planning and design discussions with the development team to ensure features are designed and implemented meeting high‑level quality standards.
- Participate in code reviews.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Full‑Stack developer with experience in design, development, and implementation of enterprise‑level Java applications.
- Experience writing automated testing of various sorts (unit, integration, UI, etc).
- Ability to problem‑solve and work independently to resolve technical roadblocks.
- Comfortable being self‑directed and pushing the boundaries of what is possible with different frameworks.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficient with Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation platforms or an interest in automation (Appium or Selenium especially).
- Experience in mobile device development (iOS and Android).
- Experience with Jira/Confluence.
- Experience with Linux.
- Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
