Job summary

Heptarc in Pune is seeking a senior Java/full-stack developer for a contract engagement to build scalable front-end components and robust backend APIs. You will work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks to deliver interactive user interfaces.

The role requires extensive experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, Spring Framework, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. Cloud experience in GCP or AWS is preferred, with Kubernetes knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of experience in Java and front-end stack.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and front-end frameworks.
• RESTful APIs and microservices development in Java.
• CI/CD with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Cloud experience: GCP (preferred) or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and business logic in Java.
• Develop microservices-based applications using Java technologies.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.

Job Description-

Java Programming Front end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Frontend frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, or Vue.js for building interactive user interfaces RESTful API design principles and experience in implementing APIs Developing microservices based applications using Java technologies Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD Proficiency in frameworks and technologies such as Spring Framework (including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security) for building RESTful APIs and business logic. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, etc If not on GCP, same experience with AWS Experience building or implementing Vendor Payment Platforms like IMPS, UPI etc
