Job summary

Infosys in India seeks a Java backend developer to design, build, test, and deploy scalable applications using Spring Boot and microservices. You will implement secure REST APIs, integrate with databases and messaging systems, and support CI/CD automation in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

You will work on backend services, ensure performance and security, and contribute to documentation and architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop scalable and resilient microservices following industry best practices.
• Integrate applications with databases, messaging systems, and third-party services.
• Implement security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps engineers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards are maintained.
• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation.
• Create technical documentation and contribute to architectural decisions.
