We are hiring a Java Backend Developer to work remotely from India. The role focuses on backend development using Spring Boot, JAX-RS, JPA, and MySQL, with strong emphasis on leveraging AI tools to boost productivity, problem-solving, and automation. Knowledge of JSF is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services with Spring Boot and JAX-RS
• Design RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend/third-party services
• Implement efficient data access using JPA and optimize MySQL queries
• Use AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, AI-powered IDEs) to improve code quality and speed up development
• Stay updated with AI trends and apply them to workflows and automation
• Collaborate with international team members across time zones

Requirements

• 2–6 years of Java backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, JAX-RS, JPA, MySQL
• Familiarity with REST API design principles
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows
• AI Proficiency: Comfortable using AI tools for coding, debugging, documentation, and automation
• Bonus: Knowledge of JSF
