Job summary

McLaren Strategic Ventures in India seeks a technical lead to head the software delivery team, translating client requirements into scalable architectures and robust applications. You will drive end-to-end delivery, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely, high-quality releases.

The role requires hands-on Java/J2EE, Spring, microservices, AWS, Docker and Kubernetes, plus strong design-pattern knowledge, Kafka messaging, and CI/CD discipline.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE development.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Java 8+, Spring, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• AWS cloud infrastructure knowledge and exposure to CI/CD is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

• The candidate will be responsible for leading the technical team to manage end-to-endproject delivery including understanding customer requirements, developing software,managing overall project aspects, customer delivery, and maintenance.
• Candidates should be able to conduct technical meetings & discussions with clients withminimal supervision.
• Candidate should be able to provide superior technical architecture guidance to his/hertechnical team.
• Understanding basic design principles behind a scalable application.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Good Understanding of Design Patterns, Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Strong hands on experience with Java8 or above, Spring Framework, Kafka, Docker,Kubernetes, Web socket and redis etc.
• Strong hands on experience in architecture and developing applications based on Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Multi-Thread programming, Servlet programming, Server Clientcommunication module.
• Proficient and hands on with Application Servers (Tomcat or JBoss) .
• Good knowledge of relational databases, specifically MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with working on Agile Software development methodology.
• Good knowledge and experience with CI / CD tools would be an advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Must be able to succeed with minimal resources and supervision.
• Must-Haves - AWS cloud infrastructure.
