Job summary

NTT DATA Global Delivery Services Ltd seeks a Z2_Java Developer to join its Bangalore, Karnataka team. You will build robust backend services with Spring Boot and Kotlin, implement server-side rendering, and work on event-based messaging to ensure scalable systems.

You will design data models with PostgreSQL and Redis, manage CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and collaborate across DevOps, architecture, and product teams. Strong English required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot and Kotlin backend services.
• Experience with server-side rendering, HTMX, and Tailwind CSS.
• Practical PostgreSQL and Redis experience.
• Familiar with event-based architectures and messaging systems (e.g., AWS SQS/SNS).
• Experience with Azure and ideally with AWS.
• Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
• Ideally experience with testing frameworks: JUnit, ArchUnit, Approval Tests, Playwright.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java is an advantage.
• Familiar with Datadog or similar monitoring tools.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust backend services with Spring Boot and Kotlin.
• Design server-side rendering solutions using Kotlinx HTML DSL and HTMX; build UIs with Tailwind CSS.
• Implement event-based architectures for asynchronous messaging; ensure high availability and scalability.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Redis for data management and caching strategies.
• Lead code reviews; mentor teammates; contribute technical guidance.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions; use Terraform for IaC.
• Collaborate with DevOps, architects, and product owners to drive best practices.
• Write and maintain comprehensive tests: unit, ArchUnit, Approval Tests, Playwright.
• Monitor applications with Datadog; support AWS to Azure migration.

What tasks await you?

• You develop and maintain robust and scalable backend services with Spring Boot and Kotlin

• You conduct code reviews and support the team through mentoring and technical guidance
• You develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform
• You work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• You implement comprehensive tests: unit tests, ArchUnit tests, approval tests, and end-to-end tests with Playwright
• You monitor applications with Datadog and analyze logs
• You actively support the planned migration from AWS to Azure
• You work closely with DevOps engineers, architects, and product owners, contributing innovative ideas and best practices
