Job summary

Deservely Technologies Pvt Ltd in India is seeking a Java Developer to join our backend team. You will work on building scalable backend applications using Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices, and you will design and consume RESTful APIs.

The role requires strong Hibernate/JPA skills with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and solid SQL. Proficiency with Git for version control and build tools like Maven or Gradle is essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years of hands-on Java development experience.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have 4 years of hands-on experience in Java application development with strong expertise in Java 8/11/17.

They should be proficient in building scalable backend applications using Spring Boot and designing Microservices architecture.

Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs is essential.

The candidate must have a solid understanding of Hibernate/JPA for object-relational mapping and hands-on experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including writing optimized SQL queries. Strong knowledge of Git for version control and collaborative development is required.

Experience using build and dependency management tools like Maven or Gradle is expected. The candidate should also have practical experience in writing unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure application quality and reliability.

Familiarity with software development best practices, code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and Agile/Scrum methodologies will be considered an added advantage.
