Job summary

Naukri E Hire Campaign is seeking a skilled Java Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications on AWS, with emphasis on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. The role involves building robust RESTful services and collaborating across teams in a cloud-first environment.

You will design, develop, and deploy on AWS, while ensuring security, performance, and high availability through best practices and agile collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong Java experience (8+), with Spring Boot and cloud-native design.
• Experience building microservices, RESTful APIs, and data access layers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and deploy microservices-based applications following cloud-native architecture principles.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS Cloud.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Microservices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications on AWS while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and deploy microservices-based applications following cloud-native architecture principles.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on AWS Cloud.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Java (Java 8/11/17).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience in developing Microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud services.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Git and version control.

Preferred Skills

• AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch, IAM, and CloudFormation.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Hibernate/JPA.
• Maven or Gradle.
• Unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Good to Have

• AWS Certification (AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools.
