Job summary

Citi is seeking a senior Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst in Maharashtra to lead application systems analysis and programming activities. The role involves coordinating with the Technology team to establish and implement new or revised systems and programs.

Responsibilities include partnering with management to deploy enhancements, solving high-impact problems, ensuring architectural compliance, and guiding mid-level developers while managing risk and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role.
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.

• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

• Strong expertise in Angular, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL.


• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs, backend services, authentication/authorization solutions, and enterprise integrations.


• Hands‑on experience with Oracle ERP development, customization, and integrations.


• Strong understanding of full-stack application development across UI, middleware, APIs, and database layers.


• Experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications using Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.


• Proficient in database design, SQL optimization, stored procedures


• Strong understanding of frontend and backend application architecture and design patterns.


• Experience working with source control tools such as Git.
