Job summary

Optimum Solutions in Chennai is seeking a Japanese bilingual Technical Delivery Manager to bridge Japanese customers and engineering teams. You will participate in client meetings, confirm requirements, and translate them into clear engineering tasks while managing issues, risks, and delivery across the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong Japanese communication, experience with AI/GenAI projects, and familiarity with Python, FastAPI, Next.js, APIs, and cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Business-level Japanese communication (JLPT N3/N2/N1).
• Fluent Japanese–English communication and interpretation.
• Experience with Japanese clients or stakeholders.
• Experience in technical coordination / Bridge SE / Technical PM / Delivery Management.
• Experience in AI / GenAI / software development projects.
• Understanding AI/GenAI application requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Basic understanding of LLM, RAG and API integration.
• High-level understanding of Python, FastAPI and Next.js.
• Experience coordinating testing, QA, and release activities.

Responsibilities

• Act as the communication bridge between Japanese customers and delivery teams.

• Coordinate issues, risks, dependencies, and delivery tasks between Japanese stakeholders and teams.

• Support end-to-end SDLC, including pre- and post-go-live activities.
• Coordinate testing, quality validation, UAT, release, and production activities.
• Review AI/GenAI outputs from quality and business-acceptance perspectives.
• Ensure smooth communication across the full project lifecycle.

We are looking for a Japanese bilingual technical professional who can:

• Function as the communication bridge between Japanese customers and technical delivery teams.
• Participate in Japanese client meetings and provide requirements confirmation and meeting interpretation.
• Understand technical requirements and convert them into clear tasks and action items for engineering teams.
• Coordinate issues, risks, dependencies, and tasks between Japanese stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Understand AI/GenAI application requirements and associated acceptance criteria.
• Extend expertise for entire SDLC including project implementation process of pre and post go-live activities.
• Coordinate testing, quality validation, UAT, release, and production activities.
• Review AI/GenAI application outputs from a quality and business acceptance perspective.
• Facilitate smooth communication throughout the complete project lifecycle.

Must Have

• Business-level Japanese communication skills JLPT N3/N2/N1 or equivalent.
• Fluent Japanese to English and English to Japanese communication and interpretation skills.
• Experience of collaborating with Japanese clients or Japanese stakeholders.
• Experience in technical coordination / Bridge SE / Technical PM / Delivery Management / Project Coordination.
• Experience in AI / GenAI / software development projects.
• Understanding of AI/GenAI application requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Basic understanding of LLM, RAG and API integration.
