Job summary

AMS is seeking an experienced ITGC Manager to lead global teams delivering IT Audit, SOX, SOC, and IT Controls engagements for US audit clients. The candidate will bring deep expertise in ITGC, ITAC, risk assessments and internal controls over financial reporting, along with strong people and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT Audit, ITGC, SOX, SOC, or Risk Advisory.
• Experience leading global teams and managing client engagements.
• Strong knowledge of PCAOB auditing standards and AICPA requirements.
• Experience across ERP systems, UNIX/Linux, Windows, Mainframe, Oracle, SQL Server, Cloud.
• Certifications such as CISA or CISSP are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT Audit engagements including ITGC, ITAC, SOX, and SOC assessments.
• Conduct IT risk assessments and evaluate technology controls supporting financial statement audits.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ITGC Manager to lead global teams delivering IT Audit, SOX, SOC, and IT Controls engagements supporting US audit clients. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Application Controls (ITAC), risk assessments, and internal controls over financial reporting, along with proven people management and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT Audit engagements including ITGC, ITAC, SOX, and SOC assessments.
• Conduct IT risk assessments and evaluate technology controls supporting financial statement audits.
• Review design and operating effectiveness of controls across applications, infrastructure, and business processes.
• Manage SOC 1 and SOC 2 engagements aligned with AICPA standards.
• Drive quality, operational excellence, resource planning, and engagement economics.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years of experience in IT Audit, ITGC, SOX, SOC, or Risk Advisory.
• Experience leading global teams and managing client engagements.
• Strong knowledge of PCAOB auditing standards and AICPA requirements.
• Experience working across ERP systems, UNIX/Linux, Windows, Mainframe, AS400, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Sybase, and Cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, and HITRUST.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Certifications such as CISA or CISSP are highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Cloud Computing, Agile, Automation, and emerging technologies.
• Experience in proposal development and business growth initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Prior experience with Big 4 firms is preferred.

Educational Qualification

• BE / B.Tech
• MBA / MCA / M.Tech preferred
• Certifications such as CISA or CISSP are highly preferred.
