Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking an Item Masterdata Administrator in Pune to manage item master data and supplier information within our global supply network. The role focuses on maintaining data accuracy for lead times, prices, quantities, and BOMs, while driving data quality improvements and process enhancements.

You will collaborate with suppliers worldwide, ensuring reliable data flows and timely updates to support procurement and logistics.

Qualifications

  • Total experience required is 5+ year in Product/Master data management.
  • Excellent technical understanding, logical and tactical thinking, and a dedicated team player.
  • Experience in maintaining supplier lead time, prices and quantities is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain item master data and supplier data in the ERP system.
  • Analyze data such as lead time, prices and quantities to support procurement and logistics.
  • Perform price maintenance and manage BOM-related data.
  • Improve data quality and implement process improvements from design to execution.
  • Collaborate with suppliers worldwide to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.

Job Title: Item Masterdata Administrator

Location: Pune

Contract: Full-time

What you will do

Role & Responsibilities: As Item Administrator you play a key role within Vanderlande’s global business. As a Item Administrator, you initiate the process and enable the organization to sell parts. You make sure the business is supported by proactively inquiring and managing commercial & logistical information of suppliers like supplier lead time prices quantities Transportation mode etc. Your strong analytical skills, and ability to set priorities and take decisions are crucial for achieving your goals. You will work closely with suppliers worldwide. Furthermore, you excel at:

  • Accuracy in your work and systematic thinking in routine tasks and data quality improvements.
  • Improving processes and tooling from conceptual design to detailed execution.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills, building relationships based on trust, persuasiveness and impact.
  • Teamwork, aiming for quality, but with respect for local cultures.
  • Ensuring that your colleagues can depend on a steady, high-quality data management process, by taking initiative and keeping the overview.
  • Decision taking in order to assure process flow.
What you bring
  • Technical Skills: Maintenance of item master data (MDM), (Supplier, lead time, prices and quantities) Analyzing the data, Price maintenance, Supply chain, BOM, Change management, Advance Excel, Communication, ERP (JDE Edwards preferred)
  • Other Skills: Total experience required is 5 + year in Product/Master data management. Customer focus, Communication & Presentation, Time Management, Co-ordination, analytically strong mind. Excellent technical understanding, logical and tactical thinking skills, Dedicated & responsible team player.
