Job summary

JobItUs in Shendra MIDC, Chh Sambhaji Nagar is seeking a seasoned IT Systems Administrator to manage enterprise servers, network, storage, and cloud integration across manufacturing and office environments.

You will ensure 24/7 system availability for MES and ERP, oversee OT/IT convergence, cybersecurity, audit readiness, and vendor coordination. This role is on-site in India and offers opportunities to work across manufacturing and enterprise IT domains.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of IT systems administration experience.
• At least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage Servers: Maintain physical and virtual servers (VMware/Hyper-V) across enterprise and production environments.
• Network Administration: Configure firewalls, switches, VLANs, and VPNs to ensure secure data flow.
• Storage & Backup: Oversee SAN/NAS storage, executing strict backup protocols and disaster recovery plans.
• Cloud Integration: Administer hybrid cloud infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft 365 and Azure/AWS.
• OT Convergence: Bridge the gap between IT infrastructure and Operational Technology (OT), including PLC and SCADA networks.
• System Availability: Maintain 24/7 uptime for MES and ERP software.
• Device Management: Support industrial PCs, barcode scanners, label printers, and IoT sensors on the production line.
• Cybersecurity: Implement endpoint protection, access controls, and patch management to safeguard intellectual property.
• Audit Compliance: Maintain documentation for IT governance, licensing, and industry-specific security standards.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with external ISPs, hardware vendors, and software providers for maintenance and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Experience & Education

• Years of Experience: 6-10 years in IT systems administration, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Operating Systems: Advanced knowledge of Windows Server (2019/2022) and Linux distributions.
• Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, and industrial network security.
• Virtualization: Proven expertise with VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Manufacturing Tech: Familiarity with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) and shop-floor automation systems.

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot critical production-stopping infrastructure issues under pressure.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to collaborate with both corporate executives and plant operators
