Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end IT/IS solutions architecture for cross-domain telecom projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality, timelines and cost targets.
• Provide design expertise across Sell, Build and Run lifecycle including incident management.
• Lead architecture for enterprise products such as Fixed/Mobile Connectivity, UC, Cloud & Hosting, and Security.
• Apply TOGAF, TM Forum and UML in solution modelling.
• Manage third-party contributions to ensure continuity and integration.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and negotiate design decisions.
• Improve service standards through proactive stakeholder engagement.

About This Role

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Solutions Architect to lead the design and architecture of integrated IT/IS solutions across Group Enterprise and Local Market Enterprise Business Units. This role is pivotal in supporting Vodafone’s strategic growth by delivering trusted, high-quality architecture and design services for complex product developments and customer solutions. The individual will ensure alignment with business needs and facilitate seamless development, testing, and deployment activities.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver end-to-end solutions architecture and design for complex cross-domain IT/IS projects in the telecommunications sector
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Vodafone to ensure solutions meet quality, detail, time, and cost criteria
• Provide design expertise across the Sell, Build, and Run assurance lifecycle, including incident management
• Lead architecture for enterprise products such as Fixed and Mobile Connectivity, Unified Communications, Cloud & Hosting, and Security portfolios
• Apply industry frameworks including TOGAF, TM Forum, and UML in solution modelling
• Design connectivity products including IPVPN, SDWAN, Ethernet, FTTP, and FTTC
• Manage third-party contributions to solution design, ensuring continuity and integration
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, negotiate design decisions, and present solutions clearly
• Anticipate objections and collaboratively improve service standards through stakeholder engagement

Who You Are

• Degree-qualified or equivalent technical experience with 12–15+ years in IT/IS architecture within the telecom domain
• Proven track record in delivering complex, cross-functional solutions
• Strong understanding of Telecom BSS and lifecycle processes such as Lead to Case (L2C) and Trouble to Resolve (T2R)
• Skilled in applying TOGAF, TM Forum frameworks, and UML standards
• Effective communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and drive consensus
