Deutsche Bank in Pune, India seeks an IT Product Owner (VP) to guide Scrum teams through data warehousing transitions on Google Cloud. Translate business objectives into a prioritized roadmap and collaborate with delivery teams and solution architects.

You will champion agile practices, manage stakeholders, drive value, and mentor teams across locations, with governance and regulatory focus and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience as Product Owner and Product management in an agile environment.
• 8+ years' experience working in data warehousing on Google Cloud.
• Avaloq Core banking experience preferred.
• Technical skills include: Data warehousing concepts, Google Cloud Platform - BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Composer, GKE, pipelines set up using DataProc, Python.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to communicate with seniority levels and drive roadmaps.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience using AI tools to boost productivity.
• Finance domain experience; knowledge of Transaction Monitoring or Private Banking is a plus.
• Agile testing & engineering techniques beneficial.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop, Create, and communicate Product Vision and Roadmap with the Business Owners, Delivery Teams & Solution/System Architects
• Serves as the strategic Product Owner for driving the transition toward Strategic Data warehousing solutions on Google Cloud (GCP)
• Translate business objectives, regulatory expectations, and investigative needs into a prioritized product roadmap that enables compliance, efficiency, and risk reduction
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align feature development with business priorities and migration milestones
• Ensure development work is tightly aligned to user value and strategic goals
• Own the product vision for the migration working closely with several teams to define integration points, decommissioning timelines and MVP delivery plans
• Monitor and track the progress of the platform transition, proactively resolving blockers, refining scope, and communicating impact to leadership and delivery teams
• Champion continuous improvement across Agile ways of working, contributing to velocity gains, improved stakeholder visibility and enhanced delivery predictability
• Act as a change leader, supporting business readiness, user adoption, and training efforts to ensure successful platform onboarding and operational continuity
• Define and Communicate Product Vision and roadmap in partnership with stakeholders and engineering
• Develop as an SME and primary point of contact liaison with all relevant stakeholders in Business and Engineering, giving them timely, transparent, and metric driven updates.
• Ensure adherence to both the Bank's and domain's testing standards with focus on achieving further efficiencies and benefits through automated testing.
• Provide management, leadership, and technical/domain guidance to teams across multiple locations and senior escalation point for all stakeholders.
• Participate in the end-to-end development cycle working closely with squad teams following the domain's development model.

Your skills and experience

Technical / Domain Skills

• 10+ years' experience as Product Owner and Product management in an agile environment
• 8+ years' experience working in data warehousing projects executed On Google cloud environment.
• Avaloq Core banking experience preferred
• Technical skills include - Data warehousing concepts, Google cloud platform - BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud composer, GKE, pipelines set up using DataProc, Python
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of seniority with proven experience in successfully driving roadmaps and delivery of large-scale Regulatory, Risk, Data or Transformation Programs
• Proven experience and evidencing prioritization techniques, refinement, grooming and challenges with the Backlog management.
• Knowledge and experience of Finance domain. Good to have experience in any phase of Transaction Monitoring and Reporting, and / or Private Banking.
• Experience with Agile Testing & Engineering techniques would be a plus
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Experience in using AI Tools to achieve increased productivity

Education/ Qualifications

• Good to have: Product owner/Product Manager/ Business Analyst Certifications from recognized institutes/ courses.
