About the Role
Rialtic is looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead and scale our IT function out of our Hyderabad office. You will own the day-to-day reliability of our internal IT infrastructure and systems, lead a small team (or vendor partners) supporting our growing employee base, and be the go‑to person for everything from endpoint management and network operations to IT security hygiene, vendor management, and employee onboarding/offboarding. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who can operate strategically while still being comfortable rolling up their sleeves to fix a laptop or troubleshoot a VPN issue. A near‑term priority is transitioning endpoint management from an outsourced managed‑services model to in‑house ownership.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end IT operations for the Hyderabad office, including network infrastructure, endpoint management, SaaS application administration, and office IT setup.
- Manage and continuously improve employee onboarding/offboarding workflows, asset provisioning, and access management across core systems (Microsoft 365), with same-day revocation of elevated access on departure.
- Lead and mentor IT support staff and/or external vendors, ensuring fast, high-quality resolution of employee IT issues and a strong internal helpdesk experience.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, including contract negotiations, renewals, and performance tracking, to ensure cost‑effective and reliable service delivery.
- Implement and maintain IT security best practices — endpoint protection, patch management, MDM, access controls, and data security policies — in coordination with the security/compliance team.
- Maintain and improve network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN) and ensure high availability of internal systems and tools.
- Manage IT asset inventory and lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and secure decommissioning of hardware.
- Develop, document, and enforce IT policies, SOPs, and disaster recovery/business continuity procedures.
- Own the IT budget for the region, tracking spend against forecast and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
- Serve as the IT owner for HITRUST and SOC 2 Type II audit cycles — evidence collection, control documentation, and remediation tracking — coordinating directly with our VP, Legal, Risk & Compliance.
- Partner cross‑functionally with People, Security, and Engineering teams on IT initiatives and the ongoing legacy Microsoft 365 tenant migration and consolidation.
- Track and report on IT operations metrics (ticket resolution time, uptime, asset utilization) and drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in IT operations, IT infrastructure, or IT service management, with at least 1-2+ years in a lead or managerial capacity.
- Strong hands‑on experience with endpoint management (macOS and Windows), MDM tools (Jamf, Intune, or similar), and SaaS administration (Microsoft 365 / Entra ID).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi‑Fi, firewalls) and cloud‑based IT infrastructure.
- Experience with identity and access management tools (Okta, Azure AD, or similar) and IT security best practices.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a track record of building or improving helpdesk/support processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across global, distributed teams.
- Experience supporting a SaaS or technology company is strongly preferred; exposure to healthcare, compliance‑heavy, or regulated environments (HITRUST, SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft/Google admin certifications) are a plus but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
