Job summary

NTT DATA invites seasoned IT professionals to join as an IT Enterprise Architect. The role involves operating at enterprise and strategic levels, consulting with leaders to shape organization-wide architecture and information strategies, and translating business intent into capability roadmaps.

You will build holistic views of business processes, information assets, and technology, delivering guidance on governance, standards and best practices to enable strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field.
• Required certification(s) such as TOGAF / ITIL/ COBIT.
• Seasoned demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Architect gained within a similar matrixed information technology environment.
• Seasoned demonstrated experience in appropriate enterprise architecture domain.
• Seasoned demonstrated experience in system architecture.

Your day at NTT DATA

The IT Enterprise Architect is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for operating at an enterprise and strategic level and is responsible for consulting with internal stakeholders, around complex information technology enterprise architecture.

This role works with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organization’s strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets.

The IT Enterprise Architect provides enterprise architecture consulting services to analyze and provide holistic strategies and solutions on all aspects of enterprise architectural requirements.

This role is accountable for translating business strategic intent into holistic capability blocks, the level of capability required and roadmap for delivery to enable business strategic outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the capability maturity roadmap and investment plan which includes technology.
• Develops digital blueprint strategy and roadmap, architecture and digital principles.
• Responsible for new technology governance and digital portfolio management.
• Serves as an advisor to senior business management on business and information integration strategies.
• Evaluates internal functions, business development strategies and IT processes and suggest improvements.
• Creates business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals and creates and implements business vision and goals.
• Improves the current IT infrastructure, optimizing business operations, and setting the direction and approach for integrating information applications and programs.
• Responsible for cataloguing, developing, coordinating, communicating, maintaining, and enforcing overall enterprise architecture models, representations, initiatives, capabilities, and components to adequately perform the organization's business and technology activities.
• Provides business architecture and systems processing, as well as technology selection guidance.
• Creates methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.
• Provides consultancy in business process analysis and design, and service delivery, particularly with respect to the use of information, trends, and directions.
• Updates and maintains key enterprise architecture deliverables.
• Creates architecture and technology standards, taxonomy and reference models (operating models, process frameworks, fit to standard, data).
• Performs any other related task as required.

• Seasoned understanding of business strategy, operating models, business capabilities and value streams.
• Seasoned understanding of technologies or solutions with the intent to identify capability (and maturity) improvement potential.
• Ability to integrate big data analytics into the existing IT landscape.
• Seasoned knowledge of architectural methodologies and frameworks to be able to implement strategies effectively.
• Ability to stay on top of the latest trends and technologies that may improve business.
• Good communication skills to work with various leaders throughout the organization to support the goals and objectives of the organization.
• Good project and program management skills.
• Seasoned knowledge of information technology governance.
• Demonstrate problem analysis and solution formulation skills.
• Demonstrates systems and design thinking skills.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field.
• Required certification(s) such as TOGAF / ITIL/ COBIT.

Required experience:

• Seasoned demonstrated experience as an Enterprise Architect gained within a similar matrixed information technology environment (development or digital transformation environment).
• Seasoned demonstrated experience in appropriate enterprise architecture domain.
• Seasoned demonstrated experience in system architecture.
