Job summary

PradeepIT Consulting Services Pvt Ltd is seeking an IT/DC Infra Solution Architect with 10-15 years of IT Infra experience to lead data center design and OT network projects in Bengaluru. You will develop architecture plans, coordinate with IT teams, and oversee OT security and governance.

The role requires a degree and strong expertise in cloud, virtualization, and industry standards. On-site/offshore delivery, client-facing communication, and mentoring are key aspects of this position.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of IT Infra experience in data center design and buildouts.
• Degree required.
• SDS/EIF3 department familiarity is noted.

Responsibilities

• Provide On-site/Offshore support for Infra/ Data center design, optimization, or buildout.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture plans, including network, servers, storage, data centers, cloud services, and virtualization.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration between infrastructure components, applications, and systems.
• Design and implement OT network architectures for reliable operation of industrial control systems.
• Configure and maintain OT network devices and protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC).
• Implement security measures to protect OT networks and ensure compliance with standards.
• Develop governance models based on IT strategy.
• Evaluate technology and market trends and apply industry best practices.
• Prepare RFI/RFP documents for Data Center/IT-OT implementations and migrations.
• Manage client expectations regarding scope, budget, schedules.

About the job IT/DC Infra Solution Architect

Key Responsibility

• Work independently, providing On-site/Offshore support for Infra/ Data center design, optimization, or buildout.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive infrastructure architecture plans, including network, servers, storage, data centers, cloud services, and virtualization.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration between various infrastructure components, applications, and systems.
• Having Experience in designing and implement OT network architectures that support the reliable and secure operation of industrial control systems.
• Configure and maintain network devices and protocols specific to OT environments, including switches, routers, firewalls, and protocols like Modbus, DNP3, and OPC.
• Implement and monitor security measures to protect OT networks from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Design, evaluate the architecture, and develop a governance model on the basis of Organization IT strategies.
• Evaluate Technology trends and Market trends and bring in Industry best practices
• Responsible for the development of all RFI and RFP documents required for bid leveling on Data Center, IT/OT Implementation, Migration, Transformation and Management
• Manage client expectations throughout the project regarding scope, budget, billing, schedules, and time frames.

Skill set

• 12-15 years of Infra experience in a comparable position experience in the IT Industry and must have good experience in Network/Storage/Virtualization/HCI/Private and public Cloud topics & good knowhow of the latest trends in IT Infra
• In-depth knowledge of network, server, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of OT network protocols, topologies, and technologies, including SCADA and IC
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices specific to OT networks.
• Knowledge of industrial network hardware and software solutions (e.g., PLCs, HMIs, RTUs).
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and IEC 62443.
• Hands-on experience in preparation of Proof of concept of IT Infra and Cloud topics
• Proficiency in architectural frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Professional, VMWare, Nutanix) are a plus.
• Strong in client-facing and Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. (Written & spoken)
• Able to work under stringent timelines and pressure.
• Able to articulate well and convert the customer requirements into the best available solution in the industry.
