Job summary

Select Source International in Mumbai is seeking a senior professional with 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in internal controls audits as part of statutory and internal audits, SOX, IFC and SOC 2 engagements.

You will independently lead multiple complex engagements, design ITGCs and application controls, and mentor a team of 12–15 professionals while coordinating with EDs and Partners to ensure quality, timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of post-qualification experience in internal controls audit as part of statutory audits, internal audits, SOX, IFC, SOC 2 engagements.
• Proven ability to independently lead multiple highly complex engagements.
• Experience in design and operating effectiveness testing of business processes controls and IT controls.
• Experience managing 12–15 professionals and coordinating with EDs/Partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple audit engagements with responsibility for scope, timelines and budget.
• Design and test controls; evaluate segregation of duties and access controls in ERP environments.
• Identify issues, assess impact on financial statements and recommend compensating controls.
• Conduct training, contribute to thought leadership, and coach 12–15 professionals.

• CA, CMA. Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, DISA.

OR

• B.E. with MBA Finance/ Systems. Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP.


• Minimum 5 8 years of post-qualification experience of internal controls audit as a part of statutory audits, internal audits, SOX, IFC, SOC 2 engagements.


• Must have proven expertise of -


• Independently leading multiple highly complex engagements.


• Design and operating effectiveness testing of Business Processes controls, application controls, IT General Controls, Report testing, documentation and review ensuring quality, budget and timelines.


• Independently managing multiple engagements with 12 - 15 team members and multiple ED’s, Partners.


• Evaluating controls such as segregation of duties, access controls, ERP based controls, audit trail as per MCA requirement.


• Identifying issues, assessing their financial statement assertion level impacts, developing recommendations, identifying compensating controls and performing additional procedures.


• Other skills –


• Business development, proposal preparations, and presentation experience are a must.


• Conducting training, contributing to thought leadership and overseeing coaching of 12 - 15 professionals.
