Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Chennai is seeking an experienced MLOps engineer to deploy and maintain AI-enabled applications across the full lifecycle.

You will collaborate with data scientists and infra teams to operationalize models, manage experiments, and ensure governance and lineage for reliable AI solutions. You will implement CI/CD pipelines for ML, work with AWS services like Lambda, SageMaker and Step Functions, and support data visualization tools for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ML operations and CI/CD for ML workflows.
• Experience creating end-to-end ML pipelines (training, inference).
• Ability to collaborate with business and data scientists to realize ROI from models.
• Strong statistical analysis and ML knowledge.
• Experience with containerization and packaging of ML models.

Summary:

As a MLOps engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and maintain the full lifecycle of applications and systems that utilize AI to improve performance and efficiency, including but not limited to deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, natural language processing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Explore, implement and deploy pipelines for deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, and image processing solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality AI projects.
• Tracking of multiple models, experiments for auditing purpose
• Collaborate with data scientists for hyper parameter tuning and features maintenance
• Model management and versioning
• Work with infra team, data scientists, business in establishing artifact lineage, model registry, governance
• Assist in testing, automated deployment
• A pipeline for triggering retraining to detect model drift or data drift, trigger retraining
