Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Analyst Applications (Disaster Recovery Operations Analyst I) to join our India Cybersecurity Support team - CAT IT Division. The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore – Caterpillar PSN. This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule. Shift Timing: 01:00-10:00PM IST. The Disaster Recovery (DR) Operations Analyst I supports the organization's resilience and recovery program by maintaining recovery documentation, assisting with testing activities, and contributing to operational readiness. This entry-level role provides foundational experience in disaster recovery, operational resilience, and technology risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain disaster recovery plans, inventories, contact lists, and supporting documentation.


• Assist in planning and executing disaster recovery tests and annual recovery exercises.


• Track remediation actions, risks, issues, and recovery readiness activities.


• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to collect and validate recovery information.


• Monitor compliance with established disaster recovery standards and procedures.


• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for governance meetings.


• Participate in recovery exercises and document lessons learned and improvement opportunities.


• Escalate identified gaps, risks, and issues to senior team members.


• Support audit, compliance, and governance activities.
