Job description

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) under Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) has officially released the Admit Card for Assistant, Driver, Fireman & Cook Recruitment 2026. Candidates who have applied for these posts can now download their admit cards from the official website. The examination is scheduled for 26th and 27th February 2026. This is a crucial step for candidates to appear in the recruitment exam, and without the admit card, entry to the examination center will not be allowed.

ISRO VSSC has announced a total of 39 vacancies for various posts. The details are as follows:

• Assistant – 2 posts – Graduate degree with minimum 60% marks and typing skills
• Light Vehicle Driver-A – 27 posts – 10th pass with Light Vehicle Driving License and 3 years experience
• Heavy Vehicle Driver-A – 5 posts – 10th pass with Heavy Vehicle Driving License and 5 years experience
• Fireman-A – 3 posts – 10th pass from recognized board
• Cook – 2 posts – 10th pass with 5 years of relevant experience

Age Limit

The age of candidates should be between 28 years (minimum) and 35 years (maximum) as on 15 April 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per ISRO rules for reserved categories.

The recruitment will be conducted through multiple stages to ensure the selection of competent candidates. The selection process includes:
